This is a special pendant that embodies the spirit of Ōkuninushi-no-Mikoto, the deity of nation-building.

About Ōkuninushi-no-Mikoto

Ōkuninushi-no-Mikoto is revered as the deity of nation-building.

He completed the creation of Ashihara-no-Nakatsukuni, the earthly realm, and is regarded as the divine figure whose deeds led to the founding of Izumo Taisha, one of Japan’s most ancient and revered Shinto shrines.

He is also known for his gentle and compassionate nature through the myth of “The White Hare of Inaba.”

In this story, he showed kindness to the hare, who had been flayed and left suffering, and saved it by offering the proper method of healing.
